Cielo began in Barbarense Sports Club, in Sao Paulo city of Santa Barbara d'Oeste, where he was born. In 2003, he moved to Sporting Clube Pinheiros, where he coached for two years alongside Gustavo Borges, including getting the same as this, the suit he used for the Athens Olympics in 2004.

Cesar Augusto Cielo Filho (Santa Barbara d'Oeste, January 10, 1987) is a Brazilian swimmer, Olympic champion's 50 meters freestyle at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, where he also won a bronze medal in the 100 meters freestyle champion and world record 100 m freestyle world champion and the 50-meter freestyle in Rome in 2009. She won three gold medals and one silver medal in the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro [1]. Cesar Cielo lived, studied and trained in the city of Auburn, USA, at Auburn University. [2] was considered by Time Magazine one of the 100 most influential Brazilians in the year 2009. Maurren Higa Maggi (San Carlos, June 25, 1976) is a Brazilian jumper. It became the biggest name in the history of female athletics in Brazil to win the gold medal in long jump proof of the Beijing Olympics of 2008, jumping 7.04 m. She was voted best athlete of the decade by Life magazine Sport.

It is a record in Brazil and South American long jump (7.26 m) and twice champion in Winnipeg Pan American Rio 2007 and 1999 insame race . It is also South American record of the 100-meter hurdles with a mark of 12s71, obtained in 2001 and was South American record holder in triple jump with 14m53, marks obtained in 2003.

Maurren twice finished the year as world number one in the long jump: in 1999 (7.26 m) and 2003 (7.06 m). She became the ninth best athlete in the history of the sport in 1999 at the time of his jump of 7.26 m
